REFUGEE AND APPPEAL
ADVOCACY IMMIGRATION CONSULTING

Strategic Representation for Individuals Facing Immigration Challenges

PRACTICE AREAS

REFUGEE PROTECTION DIVISION

Our expertise will support you in making your asylum claim by recommending useful documentary evidence, offering practice sessions for your oral testimony, and advocating as legal counsel in the refugee determination hearing.

IMMIGRATION APPEAL DIVISION
FAMILY SPONSORSHIP APPEAL

We can help you appeal a denied sponsorship by closely reviewing the refused application and refusal letter. We would submit the Notice of Appeal and perfect the Appeal Record offering you advice on collecting documentary evidence and crafting strong arguments in a memorandum to set out the reasons the Appeal should be allowed.

PRE-REMOVAL RISK ASSESSMENT

We help those facing removal from Canada who fear persecution or harm in their country of origin by guiding them through the PRRA process. We will prepare a comprehensive, evidence‑based application supported by a detailed legal memorandum with the objective of halting deportation and establishing a pathway to Permanent Residence in Canada as a Protected Person.

REFUGEE APPEAL DIVISION

We conduct a comprehensive review of the Notice of Decision, the hearing recording, and all claim‑related materials to develop a strategic approach for addressing the panel’s errors of fact or law that contributed to the negative outcome. Based on this analysis, we prepare a detailed legal memorandum and will recommend any admissible new documentary evidence to strengthen the appeal.

IMMIGRATION APPEAL DIVISION INADMISSABILITY APPEAL

We help permanent residents fight inadmissibility to retain their status by building a strong compelling case with legal arguments and relevant humanitarian and compassionate considerations.

FAMILY AND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

Living in Canada without your loved ones is lonely and difficult. The right advice and a compelling, well-prepared sponsorship application will ensure you and your spouse can begin your future together in Canada without unnecessary delays. The application we prepare for you will contain all core requirements, plus additional documentation we recommend to strengthen and address any areas of concern

Heather is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant with the level 3 license for unrestricted IRB practice. She has been practicing for seven years and is a member in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC). She holds a Bachelor degree from the University of Alberta and a post-graduate diploma in Immigration Consulting from Ashton College. Her interest in immigration began years ago with volunteer work in refugee settlement and support which inspired her to obtain her license to practice as an immigration consultant in early 2019. Heather initially worked in economic immigration, temporary and permanent residence and family sponsorship but her passion for advocacy led her to focus on providing specialized legal counsel in refugee claims, appeals of refused family class sponsorship applications, inadmissibility and pre-removal risk assessment.

Heather takes a serious and committed approach to the best interest of each client. With a well established record of success, she attributes these wins to meticulous review of client documentation, crafting strategic well-supported arguments and a personal commitment to helping clients receive fair decisions.

"I had a great experience working with Heather on my case. From the outset, she showed a high level of professionalism and genuine care for her clients. She was consistently kind, patient, and willing to take the time to walk me through each step, making sure I understood the process clearly.

Heather is very approachable and open, which made communication easy and comfortable. I always felt at ease reaching out to her with questions, and she was responsive and thorough in her answers. Her willingness to help and her attention to detail gave me confidence that my case was in capable hands.

What I appreciated most was her ability to ease the stress that comes with immigration. She created a supportive and reassuring environment, helping me feel less overwhelmed by the uncertainty of the process. Her calm and steady approach made a meaningful difference, and I felt supported every step of the way.

I would confidently recommend Heather to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, reliable, and compassionate immigration consultant."
